Tigress Found Dead in Dhela Range of Corbett Tiger Reserve
A tigress lost her life after hours of struggle. The fierce fight between tusker and tigress led to breaking of tigress head bone.
Fight between the two giants of Jungle i.e. Tigress and Tusker seems to be the matter of power game. We have often heard about the tiger chasing tusker and leading to tusker’s death or injury. But the shocking news of tigress found dead in the jungle by tusker’s attack with its teeth is gaining nation’s attention.
The tragic incident which took place in the Dhela range of Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve is spine thrilling. The footprints of tigress and tusker were found on the spot. Whereas tigress estimated age is said to be 5 years. Forest officials’ of the national park suspects that the tigress might have been hurt by tusker’s attack on her head and due to heavy bleeding, she lost her life.
After knowing about the tigress dreadful demise, Corbett Deputy Director, Rahul Mishra, took immediate action by bringing the tigress body to rescue center for postmortem. Further investigation on the incident continues.
